Top Things To Do In Broulee During Winter

Broulee is a coastal haven, nestled between Moruya and Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast. The charming town is home to picture-perfect beaches, wildlife-filled bush walks, beachy cafes and a bustling brewery. 

I love spending time in Broulee, and finding myself calling Broulee home this winter inspired me to write an article. 

Here are my recommendations on what to do in Broulee during the winter months! 

Warm your soul with a Killibinbin coffee

If you’re looking for cosy vibes, friendly staff and delicious coffee, then pay a visit to Killibinbin. You can find the quirky and colourfu cafe tucked behind the Broulee supermarket on Grant Street at the southern end of the town. 

While you’re there, be sure to pop into Bliss & Trove to pick up a local souvenir. 

Hit up one of Broulee’s many beaches

Broulee has arguably some of the prettiest beaches on the south coast. There’s South Broulee Beach, Shark Bay, and North Broulee Beach. No matter the weather (unless it’s raining), you will always be able to find a sheltered spot 

Kayak or paddle along Candlagan Creek

If you have a stand-up paddle board or a kayak, then a paddle down Candlagan Creek is a must. 

Or pop over to Mossy Point where you can hire kayaks!

Visit The Brewery

The Broulee Brewhouse is a hotspot amongst locals and visitors alike. 

Island Hike

If you’re an outdoorsy lover, then add the walk around Broulee Island to your list.

There’s also an old grave nestled amongst the bush.

Watch the sunset at the broulee lookout

There’s no better place to watch the sunset in Broulee. The South Broulee lookout offers picturesque views of the beach and mountains in the distance.

Broulee is a flat town, perfect for bike riding!
